3. Collection and Use of Your Data

The extent of collection, the type of collection and the use of your data depends on whether you access our website only to access information or whether you use features and services on the website which require the disclosure of more data about you, e.g. when you use the contact form.

Use for the Purpose of Information

It is not strictly necessary for you to provide personal data if you access our website only to obtain information.

Instead, in these cases we only collect and use those data which your internet browser automatically transmits to us, such as:

  • the last web page you visited

When you visit our website for the purpose of obtaining information we process the above-listed data in a non-personalized form only. This is done to allow you to access requested web pages and for us to be able to monitor whether our web pages are properly displayed when you view them. Your data are processed in accordance with the legal requirements of Art. 6 paragraph 1 (f) GDPR, with processing carried out in our own interest to enable us to show you our web pages reliably and with as few delays as possible.

We only store your IP address for the duration of your visit to our website; no analysis of any personal data is carried out; the only data processing done in this case is a statistical analysis of your web page usage, as described in the Data Protection Declaration below.

Use of the Contact Form

When you contact us using the contact form, we collect the following data from you:

  • Name
  • Company/Department
  • Email address
  • Telephone number (optional)
  • Subject
  • Your message

We use these data to be able to answer your inquiries by email or, if necessary, by phone. In addition, we can adapt our answers to your questions, based on the information you provided about your company and your department, and we can provide you with targeted information for your company or department.

Insofar as your inquiries refer to an existing contractual relationship you have with us or if you are interested in concluding an agreement with us, your data is processed in accordance with the legal requirements as outlined in Art. 6 paragraph 1 (b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

In all other cases, your data is processed in accordance with the legal requirements of Art. 6 paragraph 1 (f) GDPR (weighing up of interests) and in our own interest to allow us to respond to your questions by providing you with information relevant to your needs.

We store the data collected using the contact form and the communications used to answer your inquiries for three months.

4. Consent to Receiving Information about New Products/our Newsletter

If you would like to subscribe to our Newsletter, for legal reasons we will need you to provide us with your email address, confirm that you are the owner of the entered email address and that you agree to receive our Newsletter. The data are only collected to be able to send you our Newsletter and to document that we are legally allowed to send you the Newsletter. The data is not passed on to any third party or parties. You can revoke your subscription to the Newsletter and your consent to our storing your email address at any time.

This cookie is used to control the flow of inquiries if the website tracking code contains no active tests or does not provide tests for other reasons (monthly quota exceeded, etc.). Deactivating cookies

It is important for us to optimize the design of our web pages and make them attractive for visitors. To do this, we need to know which areas and aspects appeal to our visitors.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). Google Analytics also uses cookies, i.e., data files which are stored on your device which permit your use of the website to be analyzed. Processing of your data is done on the legal basis of Art. 6 paragraph 1 (f) GDPR (weighing up of interests) and in our own interest to allow us to evaluate how our website is being used and so that we can adapt and optimize our website based on the results of the analysis.

Data relating to you collected by Google Analytics are deleted after three months.

7. Use of Mapbox

We use contents provided by Mapbox on our website to display a map of our locations.

By visiting our website, Mapbox, Inc. (740 15th Street NW, 5th Floor, Washington, District of Columbia 20005, USA; “Mapbox”) receives the information that you have accessed the relevant page on our website. In addition, the data listed in Clause 3 (a) of this Declaration are transmitted to Mapbox.

Data relating to you collected by Mapbox are deleted after 36 months; your IP address will already be deleted after 30 days.

8. Involvement of External Service Providers and Transmission of Data to Third Parties

Your data may be transmitted to service providers who provide us with technical support to allow us maintain this website and for the above-mentioned purposes (e.g. website hosting, maintenance and support, content delivery networks); these service providers were carefully selected by us and commissioned by us in writing.

These service providers are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored by us.

In addition to the above, the transmission of your data to any other third party will only occur insofar as it is expressly specified in this Data Protection Declaration; it is necessary for the purpose of processing of a contract (this refers, in particular, to the transmission of data concerning an order you place with us to the supplier); it is necessary for billing purposes; we are legally obliged to pass on your data, or you have previously given us your consent to the transmission of your data. You have the right to revoke the consent you gave us at any time with future effect.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to request confirmation on whether personal data relating to you are being processed; if this is the case, you have a Right of information about these personal data relating to you and about such information as is listed separately in Art. 15 GDPR.

You have the right to demand the immediate rectification by us of inaccurate personal data relating to you and, where applicable, the completion of incomplete data relating to you (Art. 16 GDPR).

You have the right to demand from us that personal data relating to you be immediately deleted if any one of the reasons separately listed in Art. 17 GDPR apply, e.g. if the data are no longer required for the purpose for which they were collected or processed (Right to erasure).

You have the right to demand from us the restriction of processing of your data if any one of the requirements listed in Art. 18 GDPR are fulfilled (e.g. if you have objected to the processing) for the duration of the evaluation by us.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of data relating to you if this processing is done for the purposes of direct marketing. In addition, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, against processing which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 (e) or (f) GDPR (Right to object, Art. 21 GDPR). You have the right to revoke the consent you gave us at any time with future effect (Right of revocation).

You have the right to receive the personal data relating to you with which you provided us in a structured, commonly-used and machine-readable format from us. You have the right to transmit these data also to another controller or allow them to be transmitted by us (Right to data portability).

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes against the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR). 10. Data Security

In addition, we have technical and organizational safety measures in place to protect generated or collected personal data, in particular against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our safety measures are continually being updated and improved in line with technological developments.

When you access and use our website, the personal data relating to you is encrypted using SSL/TLS to prevent access by unauthorized third parties.

We cannot guarantee the complete security of your data in communications carried out by email, and we therefore recommend that you use the postal service to send us confidential information.

11. Final Provisions

Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH reserves the right to amend or modify this Data Protection Declaration at any time without prior notice. Such amendments or modifications apply immediately after they are published. Please check our Data Protection Declaration at regular intervals to ensure that you are familiar with the most recent terms regarding the collection and processing of confidential information. Note on the Right to Object:

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is done for the purpose of direct marketing.
