Noble wines of great tradition
The lords of Windeck cultivated their own vines in the Middle Ages already. Winemaker Hubert Pfetzer proudly continues in this tradition. He nurtures the vines around Windeck Castle with loving dedication. His caring concern for nature creates a habitat for intact and rare flora and fauna in our vineyard.
When autumn envelopes the Rhine Valley in a dense fog, the grapes on the sunny slopes of the Castle ripen to a unique aroma. The location contributes a fruity, tangy and acidic bouquet to the wine and guarantees a long shelf-life. Sample it for yourself!
